Special to The Washington Post Pittsburg Feb 9 1 A team of blind girls at Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind played a contest against sighted Indiana State Normal School girls. The blind team scored eight points by sound and touch and held opponents to twenty. One totally blind girl guided the ball by floor sense and position near the basket. Three team members are totally blind and two can barely distinguish light from darkness. The Normal girls wore crimson bows to help the blind players locate them. The blind players trained to recognize teammates steps.
