Record of American port crane and storage projects in France
The article details American efforts in France, noting delays and cancellations in crane and vessel equipment, with only a fraction of planned assets completed by war end. It lists completion percentages for coal storage, hospitals, railways, port facilities, and depots across base ports, and highlights vast warehouse, storage, and oil capacity built for the war effort. It also covers shipping increases, payrolls, and the economic impact on French prosperity, urging scrutiny of postwar asset disposal.
