Bill to bar brokers from reselling unused excursion tickets

The measure, introduced in the Senate by Mr Gallinger, would prohibit traffic in contract railroad excursion tickets. It would require brokers to post a $2,000 bond and impose a $50 annual license tax, with provisions to redeem unused portions within fifteen days. The Commissioners urge Congress to enact similar rules to curb manipulation during the inaugural period and large walks to Washington.
