Wireless to Flash Service of Church Covenant
A novel wireless system atop the Church of the Covenant will flash morning and afternoon services to listeners up to 290 miles away. The project, a joint effort of Rev Charles Nond, the Christian Endeavor Alumni, and local operators, uses a 500 watt transmitter with 47 milliamp radiating current and 360 meter wavelength. Senator Borah and Percy Foster lead the day’s program with a 300-voice choir direction by Lloyd Wrightson.

Twelfth Night celebrations and home making guide
A dated piece outlines how Twelfth Night was celebrated with indoor games, decorations, and a wassail bowl. It advises hosting by an outsider, mixing ages, and avoiding long games, with practical party logistics and a menu of hot games, baked potatoes, and dough souvenirs. It closes with a note on a USDA bulletin No 1228 about a week’s food for an average family and substitutions within food groups.
