Cassatt Dies After Strain From Rail Work

Alexander J Cassatt president of the Pennsylvania Railroad and head of six other companies died at his Philadelphia home aged sixty seven. He suffered an acute heart attack shortly before 1 p.m. after a year of ill health amplified by a whooping cough contracted at Bar Harbor last summer.
