Gainey Released in Court Over Train Wreck Suspicion

Frank Gainey a young blacksmith was discharged after a Police Court hearing on suspicions of attempting to wreck a Mount Vernon railroad train. W H White of Norfolk formally accepts the presidency of the Richmond Fredericksburg and Potomac Railway. He will maintain the road as an independent gateway between the North and South and operate it for stockholders’ benefit. Albiana in Collision Off Norfolk Toward Newport News

Left Baby On His Own Steps Sparks Detention In Pittsburg

Arthur Schnepper of Detroit, who had planned Christmas dinner with his wife and child, left a ten month old baby girl on a doorstep in front of Dr B A Rhine’s home in Pittsburgh. Detective W T Tyser Proposed for Dismissal by Maj Sylvester
