Steamer Disaster on Mississippi Kills Captain and Crew
A Mississippi steamer on the Vicksburg and Davis Bend route exploded at Gold Dust Landing, about seventeen miles south of Vicksburg, destroying the W. T. Beaver. MAD MAN AMUCK ON TRAIN IN MEADVILLE
An Italian passenger, 46 year old John Ferrette, seized a club aboard the Erie limited as it neared Meadville Pennsylvania. Bride tells story of Strothers held for jury in Culpeper murder
