Appeal Possible if Newman's Habeas Petition Fails
In Atlanta Ga Lee 17 Attorneys for Led MicFrank filed a habeas corpus petition with the U S district court seeking Frank Judge Newman’s release on grounds of constitutional rights violations and an unfair trial. The petition claims he was not present for the verdict, was denied a fair trial, and that the court lost jurisdiction. If denied, an appeal to the U S Supreme Court is anticipated. His wife Lucile Frank spoke passionately, charging perjured testimony and railroading toward the gallows, insisting innocence amid public scrutiny and alleged coercion of jurors.
