Oysters Linked to Typhoid and Poisoning Risk
Oysters are warned as objectionable and sometimes dangerous. Cases of typhoid and toxic poisoning traced to oysters tied to sewage contaminated waters. Since oysters scavenger, transmission is possible but danger is said to be largely obviated now. Eating oysters offers little beyond appetite satisfaction, and healthier substitutes exist.
