Death shrouds Arthur M Brown case in Salt Lake City

The body of former Senator Arthur M Brown, victim in the Raleigh Hotel tragedy, was sent to Salt Lake City to rest. Mrs Anna Adams, Browns fiancee and Browns mother in law, visited the undertaker and expressed grief and reminisced on their engagement. At the Willard last night the Board of Trade debated D J Callahan’s amendment barring directors from immediate re election. William H Singleton called the move cowardly while John Joy Edson proposed a two term limit The measure passed unanimously after changes and approval by several directors The group approved reports except commerce and manufactures and parks and reservations with some items held for reconstruction A plan to fund public baths in the next year was also discussed A supper followed the session

New 10 Cent Store Opens on Seventh Street

J G McCrorey Co opened the new store at 414 416 Seventh street yesterday morning. The building houses all departments on the ground floor with stockrooms above. Thousands visited during the day to buy 10 cent bargains and opening souvenirs. The Washington location is already seen as promising among the firm’s many nationwide stores.
