He was taken to Emergency Hospital in uncertain recovery. The horse escaped unhurt. Poetsch Arrested As Fugitive From Justice In Chicago Embezzlement Case. William Poetsch alias Elmer Gleason, 19, arrested by Detectives Pratt and Howlett at Sixth precinct, held as fugitive from Chicago where he allegedly embezzled funds. He confessed, claiming travel from San Francisco and arrival in Washington three weeks ago. Detective Sergi Carter notified Chief Collins. a Chicago detective will arrive Sunday to proceed.
