Baltimore Court Rules Motorists May Not Dodge Taxes
Baltimore authorities ruled in two test cases that motorists must pay 1924 taxes to renew license tags, with the Motor Vehicle Commissioner not required to issue 1925 tags until taxes in arrears are settled. City officials expect an appeal, while the Army-Navy game fund transfer shows the city netted 44,036 from 10,802 tickets, with the three parties sharing the total.
