Debutante Pink Theme Highlights Graceful Fort Myer Tea

Mrs Hatfield hosted a decor rich in pink roses and palms for the debutante Miss Helen Hatfield at Fort Myer. Attendees wore gowns of gray crepe and white chiffon with lace and satin details, while bouquets of Hie of the valley and violets complemented the floral setting. Miss Fleming, daughter of Mrs Robert J Fleming, introduced with elaborate table decor, and guests included Gen Craigie and Gen Humphrey. The event featured at least two dressy groups, with numerous attendants and a later Washington engagement noted for Miss Dodge.
