Deluded Taunton nurse claims contract to kill 32

Taunton Mass Dec 6 Jane Topan a nurse confined to Paunton Insane Asylum since June 23 1902 states she agreed with the State to kill 32 persons but killed 31 and believed she would then be free. She says the State supplied morphine and atropine and that she reported each death to officials. Alienists note the new delusion and authorities fear another attempt to fulfill the contract.
