Alexandria hospital aims to broaden scope and services
Special committees propose amendments to the Alexandria Hospital constitution and by laws to treat sick and injured regardless of color or creed. The report notes one bed per 60 population and calls for a fully equipped hospital with about 100 beds. In three years over 120 patients were treated with 80+ surgeries and only 9 deaths.
