Protests on Connecticut Avenue Grade Vainly Upheld

Maj Georfe B Armes protests the proposed grade on Connecticut Avenue Extended between Grant Avenue and Chapel Road. Panama Canal Locks To Be 100 Feet Wide

Forty from St Louis visit Washington under Hob Gregory

Hemingway Clerk Arrested Over Alimony Funds

Charles B Hemingway, a Pension Office clerk, was arrested by Deputy Marshal Cusick on orders of Justice Stafford after he withdrew $1,000 from his deposit at Equitable Building and Loan. The move followed a court order for temporary alimony and a fear he would flee the district. he was escorted home with a plan to return the funds in joint custody of his counsel.

Printery official dismisses worker over franked envelope use
