Soldier Recovers After Sixteen Wounds On French Front

On the Woevre front two American soldiers faced heavy shell and gunfire. One man received sixteen bullet wounds in the legs and arms but kept fighting and is expected to recover. A second fighter sustained a severe stomach wound and a blown off nose yet continued to resist until evacuated.
