Artillery Officer Charged with Court Martial over Club Shortages
Capt Solomon Avery, an artillery captain stationed at the Presidio, is ordered to appear before a court martial to answer charges of conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman. The charges stem from alleged shortages in the officers club accounts for which he was treasurer.
