Special to The Washington Post Atlantic City Aug 23 1933 Tony Biddle suffered a deep gash to his left foot when the flywheel handle of a speeding motorboat struck him as he attempted to restart the engine. He was with Danny Hutchington a former Penn football star and his brother Reggie Hutchinson a mile from shore when the injury occurred. The blow sent him toward the boat’s side but his brothers pulled him back from going overboard.
