Special to The Washington Post Edith A Rea of New York city signed into a beach front hotel apartment yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Four hours later she was found dead with a bullet wound in her right temple. Identity remained uncertain though she appeared refined and well dressed. She was about 29 years old, 5 feet 3 inches, 125 pounds, auburn hair, wearing a blue shirtwaist and jacket. Three diamond rings and a bracelet were found on her, along with $18 in her purse.
