Bureau Clerks Safe and Farmed Counting Change

Director Ralph denied reports that 80 women clerks in the bureau of engraving and painting would be dismissed to cut expenses. He said accounting would shift but not reduce staff, noting a rise in force. Machinery counts money first, then hand counts, with only one more count at the Treasury.
