Martin Burial for G A R Vice Commander at Hamline Church

Thomas H Martin, senior vice commander of the Department of the Potomac G A R, receives military honors at his funeral this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Hamline M E Church in northwest Washington. The service includes clergy from the church, a G A R ladies’ circle, and a Rock Creek Cemetery ritual with Kit Carson Post participation. Honorary pallbearers include department and post leaders, with active pallbearers named from G A R comrades. Ice short age ends as American Ice Company seals ample city supply

General manager Samuel A. Kimberly said Washington will not face a summer fee shortage again. Two schooners Henry Withington and Helen Benedict delivering 809 and 1100 tons respectively, with Margaret Thomas and barge Kentucky expected next. Ice output from Washington plants plus imports will meet demand, restoring full family and hospitality supplies.

Funeral services for Robert M. Larner held at family home

Robert M. Larner died early Saturday. Funeral services are private at F o'clock at the family home 529 Eighteenth Street. The Rev John La Mothe will conduct the service from the Church of the Epiphany. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery. Gridiron Club members attend, with a delegation from the club. A parade of floral tributes arrived yesterday. Col J F Estill and Col J C Hemphill sent telegrams of condolence. Gridiron Club will meet today at noon at the Associated Press Star Building to adopt resolutions and appoint a funeral committee.
