Prominent German Citizen Dies in Washington Home
Peter Vierbuchen longtime Washington resident died at 34 Highth Street Northeast at 2 40 yesterday morning aged sixty nine. He came from Germany at sixteen and settled in DC making it his home for life. For thirty two years he served as secretary of the German American Building Association and was active in Free Masons Odd Fellows Knights of Pythias and Singersbund. He is survived by wife seven sons and three daughters. Funeral will be held at the house at 2 30 tomorrow afternoon with burial at Rock Creek Cemetery.

Soldier James Terry dies in streetcar accident
A coroner's jury ruled James Terry of the Seventeenth Artillery, stationed at Fort Washington, died Thursday night in an unavoidable accident after being struck by a street car near Pennsylvania Avenue and Seventh Street. He was buried at Axlington Cemetery with full military honors, escorted by his company. a military salute and taps followed. Terry's residence at enlistment was Elk Valley, Tennessee, and he was highly popular among peers.
