Post Scripts and Echoes of a Shifting Era
A collage of brief notes and quips from a late 1920s press page covers political turns, social satire, and international chatter. Highlights include Coolidge vacation talk, Walsh’s maiden campaign speech, Stresemann’s terms, and a tongue in cheek look at economics, milder defense talk, and cultural tidbits. The column juxtaposes royalty, politics, and economic musings with tongue in cheek critique of contemporary figures.
