Bateman Charged With Larceny Of Pocketbook
Charlie J Bateman aged twenty nine was arrested yesterday morning by Private Skinner of the Fifth precinct for stealing a pocketbook of James Chaney at 501 L Street Northeast. Police say the theft occurred within minutes of meeting Chaney. He faces a hearing in Police Court this morning.
