Sugar Profit Trial Opens in Federal Court

In New York a federal trial began against Roulstar, Roxert & Co. and Andrew Heulsier, head of their firm, accused of profiting 1244 cents per pound on sugar. The defense sought to defer profit questions to the jury, but the judge overruled.
