Civil War veteran Capt Joseph Edward Hart who worked thirty years in the Pension Office died yesterday at his residence on Seventh Street Southeast. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 at his home under Grand Army of the Republic auspices. interment in Arlington. He was born November 15 1838 in Bartholomew County Indiana and enlisted April 1861 in the Twelfth Indiana Volunteers. Surviving are his wife Edith Hart two sons Dr J W Hart and Charles Hart and three daughters Stella Louise and Edith Hart.
