Murder at 1217 E Street Northwest Leaves Woman Dead
Agnes Levi, sixty two, was killed in her home at 1217 E Street Northwest by Henry Heath. The attack left Levi battered and fatally injured. Heath fled through alleys, evading arrest after a violent quarrel and threats to kill for food. Police pursued via Dark alleys, recovered the murder weapon, and described Heath as tall, pale, and unshaven with a mustache. Levi had claimed she was a soldier's widow, with relatives in Idaho and Baltimore, while Heath’s background remains largely unknown. The investigation continued through the night as officers questioned neighbors and followed leads on Heath’s whereabouts.
