Cannot Oust Tenant Dispossess Order Refused

Justice Siddons of the District Supreme Court denies possession to purchasers who had paid only part of the price and lacked a deed when notice to quit was issued. The decision relies on the Saulsbury resolution requiring deed completion before dispossess notices and holds the new owners must issue their own notice after receipt of the deed, not rely on prior owner notices. The case involves Shannon & Lachs against EF R Lewis at 1206 Decatur Street with Miss Yates as former owner and the Petersons as eventual purchasers.
