Minority Stockholders Seek Co-Receiver in City and Suburban Suit
Arguments before Justice Anderson in the District Supreme Court outlined the minority stockholders plea for a co receiver to join Allan L. McDermott. They want an order to end transfers from other lines to City and Suburban and to stop use of City and Suburban tracks by Washington Railway. They seek running cars from Fifteenth and G streets to Thirteenth and D streets and question saving per year under current transfers. McDermott argues transfers save about 1,000 annually but would yield to court orders. Complainants number 41 with 2,008 shares, represented by M. J Colbert and Leon Tobriner.
