Jamestown Exposition Contest Draws Wide Local Support
The Post notes a surge in entries and votes as supporters push candidates toward a Jamestown Exposition trip. New contenders appear across Fairfax and adjacent counties, led by Capt Beers and Mrs Blanche West, with letters praising candidates from district officials and community figures. Ballots must credit candidates by name, and out-of-town entries are encouraged as a path to the prize.
