Nightie court grants muralist divorce in sensational New York case

In New York a judge granted Mrs Jane Compris a divorce from Maurice Compris after a three month vigil and two weeks of secret hearings. The trial centered on an actress Claudia Scott who allegedly was more than a model for Compris's Dawn mural. Acquaintance McGowan testified he saw the actress enter the studio with Compris, while Mrs Compris confronted the pair in her nightie. The scene ended with McGowan escorting the actress from the room and Mrs Compris seeking alimony from Justice Newburger.
