Sherman tract extension not benefited by street project
The Eleventh street assessment jury heard witnesses on the Sherman tract between Florida avenue and Roanoke street. Ballinger testified that the Sherman tract remained above the new grade and that values were not greatly enhanced by the extension. He recalled past testimony valuing lots at 63 to 9 cents per foot and 416 per foot at Clifton and Thirteen streets, but questioned current benefits. The hearing adjourned to Tuesday afternoon at 1.00.
