Stoy Optimistic on Interurban Plan Near Hinodstan Falls
W L Stoy of Odon, a member of a newly formed Vincennes to West Baden interurban company, told Gazette reporters in Washington that his group will win control of Hinodstan Falls in Martin circuit court. He plans to build a dam south of the falls to improve the power, claiming land on both riverbanks and ownership of stone for construction. Government surveyors and company engineers are testing the falls’ power at the site.

Mrs Eliza Burris widow of Benjamin Burris died at her home one mile south of Alfordsville Sunday morning at eleven o'clock after years of ill health. Born in Orange county in 1834 she moved to Martin county as a young woman and married at twenty one. Surviving children include Mrs Samuel McCall Dr A H Burris and Elmer Burris.

Burris Family Mourns Loss in Local Church Funeral
