Aged Woman Mary Wheeler Passes Away at 95 in Daviess
Mrs Mary E Wheeler aged ninety five died this morning at her daughter Mrs Hugh H Sullivans home on West Walnut street. Born in New York November 2 1807 she moved to Indiana as a child and lived in the county. she leaves five of ten children including Robinson Wheeler Indianapolis Henrietta Weedman Seymour Margaret Greer and James Wheeler. Burial Sunday at Oak Grove after services at the Sullivans residence.

Work crews from Orleans arrived with wagons graders and shovels and set up quarters in the old fair grounds stables. Beitman dies after long illness at 45
Louis P. Beitman prominent Washington business leader and Bell Clothing co owner died at his Elm street home after almost two years of illness. He was active as treasurer of the Busi ness Men's association and city councilman. Born in 1857 in Vincennes, he moved to Mt. Carmel then Washington. Survived by wife Fannie and four children Ivan Henrietta Harold and Virginia, plus siblings and aged parents. Funeral plans include services at home and burial in Vincennes.
