Josiah C Palmer a Washington area pioneer died at his home four miles northwest of Washington on Wednesday evening. He was 76 years old born east of Washington and a California Forty Niner who spent two years mining for gold. He left a 1900 acre estate and a large family. Funeral services are set for Friday at 2 PM at his residence with burial in Oak Grove cemetery.
