Popular Young Man Harry Sheron Dies After Illness
Harry Sheron former secretary of the Base Ball Association in Washington died at his mother’s home from pulmonary tuberculosis. He was 34, born in Seymour, educated in local parochial schools, once ran a west Yeerees street saloon, then a Main street pool hall. He helped raise baseball’s popularity in Washington and was active in Eagles and Moose lodges. Survived by his mother, sister Nellie, and brothers Edward and John.

She was born 1847 in Jackson County and moved to Daviess County in 1865. Phillip W Osman a respected farmer died at his home at Fourth and William Streets after illness from apoplexy. Born 1844 in Sugarland district he served in the Civil War with the 27th Indiana and had eleven children with Elizabeth Ucachee, six surviving. Both families long listed among Hoiness county citizens.
