Fall injures Hutchins at Guthrie Fourth of July grand stand collapse
Pete Hutchins, Ohio telephone construction superintendent, was severely hurt when a grand stand collapsed during a Guthrie Oklahoma Fourth of July celebration. Three ribs and a collar bone were broken. Hutchins, visiting Enid for the holiday with J. B. Mull, will remain in Enid for weeks. He is survived by children and relatives listed, with funeral at St. Simon's church and burial at St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Isabella Healy widow of Samuel Healy died Tuesday evening at her East Fifteenth Street home at 5 80 o clock from fatty degeneration of the heart and dropsy. She had been ill for weeks yet remained cheerful to the end. She was seventy eight and born Isabella Gibson.

Fire department responded to a report at Gus Shepherds home on North First street this afternoon. A gasoline stove refused to work and threatened to explode, but firefighters using a chemical extinguisher stopped the blaze before any explosion.
