Tragic Run-Over Injury Near Main Street

Six year old Earl Bray was struck by a wagon wheel in front of Main Street stores. The horse driven by A J Biddinger passed over him, fracturing his skull. Dr P Scudder attended, predicting dangerous injuries but possible recovery while bystander Mr Liddinger carried him home.

McDonald Held on Rape Charge Arrested by Marshal

H. Clay McDonald of Garland County was arrested at his uncle Hosea Juries’ home in Greek County by Marshal Neyton Hutton of Linton. He was charged by Miss Myra Eaton. A jailer and county officials spent hours removing unresponsive handcuffs. McDonald was released after obtaining a license and marrying the accuser.
