Death by Own Action At Wheatland

Stephen Clinton a Wheatland man was found dead this morning by his revolver in his lap with a bullet hole in his mouth at a Wheatland vicinity near Westland. Motive unknown. he worked as a chicken picker and formerly lived in Plainville. Funeral set for Wheatland Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Burial at local cemetery. He leaves a wife and elderly father Squire Wm. Clinton. Micro details describe bruises and prior injuries, with an unrelated laborer Mr McGinnis of age 75 who died after a fall in his home.

Old Soldier Killed in Fall From Embankment to Sidewalk

A veteran died after plunging from an embankment to a sidewalk in what police described as a fatal accident. Investigators examined the scene and spoke with witnesses.

Peter McGinnie an ex soldier died at noon today from injuries after falling from a ten foot embankment onto a brick sidewalk Tuesday night. He lay unconscious for nearly an hour before a passerby found him. Frank McGinnis and others assisted at the scene and with authorities.

Ed Carlin Dies After Two Years of Illness

Ed Carlin aged years died Tuesday at the home of his parents south of Montgomery. He had suffered illness for two years. He was one of the city’s youngest men and left many friends.
