Willis James Brooks aged 76 died at 12 15 this afternoon at 104 North Lawa ge after ten weeks of illness from a heat ailment and complications. Funeral services will be Friday at two at the Presbyterian church by Dr PW followed by burial in Elm Grove. Born in Monmouth Illinois July 21 1855 he was married to Naomi Allison March 4 1880. Surviving are his widow two children Margaret W. Kyle and James Brooks one brother A R Brooks of Stromhurst Illinois and one half brother Milton Brooks of Aneroid Saskatchewan. He was a Presbyterian and lifelong church worker. Paul Shellabarger was out of town on business this afternoon.
