A memorial service for Major Gerald R. Carris missing in action over Germany since July 28, 1944, will be held at the Keota Federated church next Sunday at 3:00. The Rev. Harold T. Walker will lead the service with Dr. George Kerr delivering the sermon. Claude Eugene Tucker will return from Washington to participate, with other Washington service men in attendance. The Keota Legion post will conduct military rites and ex-service men are asked to meet at 2:30 at the Legion hall to march to the church.
