Thomas Jefferson Thompson age 51 died at his home 732 East Main Street after a year long illness. He had recently visited Mayo Clinic Rochester Minnesota but received little hope. He was born March 8 1869 in Hardin County Iowa and lived near Wellman before moving to Washington January this year. He leaves wife Lillie B Wood two sisters and a half brother and many friends NW of town. He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge at Wellman.
