Fairfield next for the Demons in Southeast Seven clash

Washington's Demons travel to Fairfield Friday for a key Southeast Seven Conference game against the Trojans. The Demons beat Keokuk 27 to 12 earlier while Keokuk had edged Washington 24 to 13. The Trojans rely on quarterback Kyle Gilpin in a run and shoot scheme and play with a junior‑sophomore lineup. Washington hopes a wet field may favor them as they seek to move the ball. Defensive loss includes Joe Marie with a broken collarbone.
