Kenneth Peters of Cotter and Dick Pugh of Columbus Junction were injured last night on Highway 61 between Wapello and Mediapolis. Burlington Youth Dies After Car Motorcycle Crash

Boy dies after drinking rat poison by mistake
A 15 year old boy born in Washington and living in Moline died in a hospital after drinking rat poison from an unstoppered exterminator bottle by mistake. Roger Breitenbach worked as a stock boy at the Chicago Meat Market in Moline and died eight hours later. He left Washington eight years earlier with his parents Ale and Mra Charles Breitenbach. He was a student at Moline High School and active in Boy Scouts and a Methodist church. He is survived by his parents, one sister and three brothers. Burial is planned in Riverside Cemetery, Moline.
