Cedar Rapids report says Albert B K Clark night ticket clerk at Northwestern station and Thomas Peebles and Robert Howard Pullman porters of Chicago were secretly indicted by a federal grand jury for conspiracy to defraud the railroad and Pullman companies through ticket resale. The scheme allegedly started last June with tickets sold for Cedar Rapids Chicago sleeper and resold for 11 to 80 dollars a night, split between Clark and the porters after partial returns to the conductor. Historic Philadelphia marks 150th anniversary of Continental Congress
In Philadelphia on September 25 1925 the city opened a two day commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the First Continental Congress and the 200th of the Carpenter's Company round. The president would address the crowd tonight at Carpenter's Hall while reenactments and a Valley Forge close followed.
