Community Survey Outlined for Washington Jaycees

Iowa Liquor Commission Reports Record 1960 Profits
The Iowa Liquor Commission reported a record 10.5 million dollar profit for the fiscal year ending June 30 1960 on sales of 43.2 million with 184 stores. It transferred 6.5 million to the general fund and 4.5 million to cities. Domestic whiskeys led sales with vodka rising, and wine cordials gained as cooking uses increased.
