Two Cars Collide at Cemetery Entrance Collision Injures Three at Elm Grove Entrance
Washington reports a Sunday accident at the Elm Grove cemetery entrance when a northbound Jeep driven by Charles Miller was hit by Donald Helfrich. Miller suffered head and leg cuts, Mrs Helfrich had a broken tooth, and a Helfrich boy was cut on the head. All four left hospital after examination. City police investigated.

Three Days under Dead in Old Baldy Bunker
A U S sergeant and three others survived three days under fallen Americans on Old Baldy as Chinese troops swarmed the crest. They drank no water and ate nothing while American bombardment and grenades rained. Rescued by the 2nd Division early today they recalled gruesome close calls and battle chaos in the bunker amid blood and death.

Two Slightly Hurt in Sunday Iowa Highway Accident
State patrolmen investigated a Sunday crash one mile west of Ainsworth Iowa. Alan Aringdale Centerville tried to back off the highway and was struck from the rear by Harry Miller Jamesport Missouri. The Aringdale car overturned into a ditch. both Miller occupants went to the hospital and were later discharged.

Committal services for the ashes of David S Simon aged 90 who died in Los Angeles on June 4 1952 will be held at 1 50 oclock Tuesday afternoon at the graveside in Elm Grove cemetery. Friends will meet at Shermans Funeral Home to proceed to the cemetery for the service. Simon was the oldest member of a former Washington family and left a substantial bequest to the Washington YMCA. His grand-nephew Carl R Simon of Van Nuys California is the only survivor expected here for the service.
