J L Robinson, chief train dispatcher of the Missouri Pacific at Atchison, was killed in a farm race at Horton during the towns twenty second birthday celebration. Sam Farmer led before Robinson swerved to avoid a collision, hit a bank, and the car somersaulted. Robinson died after removal to a Horton hospital. He was 35 and survived by a widow.
