Rites for Mrs Bechly Held at Montezuma
Funeral services for Mrs Frank Bechly were held Thursday at the Methodist Church in Montezuma. The 82 year old widow of prominent Montezuma attorney and former district court judge died at Mahaska hospital in Oskaloosa after a period of declining health. She is survived by her husband and two foster daughters.

John Pehler 64 Dies of Heart Attack on Porch
John Pehler 64 a retired Rock Island Railroad section foreman died from a heart attack Saturday afternoon on his porch at 1002 North Second Avenue. Funeral services Tuesday Sept 20 1960 at Jones Funeral Home with burial Woodlawn Cemetery. He was born May 24 1896 in Minner I and lived in this city 45 years. Survivors include his wife two daughters a son six grandchildren and a sister. He was a World War I veteran and member of the VFW and LO0F.
